The Vets with Horsepower team is a large group of people who give up their time and skills to help make the most out of each CPD tour and raise as much money for the charities as possible. There are riders, local organisers, sponsors, support car drivers, and many more people to thank for their invaluable help.

Derek is our chief, founder and driving (riding) force behind the project. He lectures on any internal medicine related topic, and makes sure everyone knows exactly what our charities and sponsors do to improve lives around the world!

Josh has returned from Australia and we are delighted that he will be joining us on the road again! His topics of interest include internal medicine and ophthalmology.
Ed Whittle

Ed has been instrumental to several of the horsepower tours as a driver and purveyor of perpetual enthusiasm, and we're ecstatic to have him back with us this year as a session chair. 
Milosz Grabski

Milosz has been following the project for a while, and in 2026 when we are visiting the clinic he works at in Poland will be a local organiser, speaker, and join us for a few days on the road.
Jessica Kidd

Jessica has been a part of HP from the start, always making sure we have what we need and doing much of the behind-the-scenes work. She lectures on topics related to equine surgery, orthopaedics, foals, melanomas and imaging.

We're delighted to have Davide, a long-standing local organiser in Lodi with us on the road this year! His presentations will be on diagnostic imaging topics.
Sanne Wilmink

Sanne is back on the road again! She has a strong interest in internal medicine and works in general equine practice, her talks will be medicine-related.
Gunther van Loon​

Gunther has been a part of VwHP from the very early days, initially as a local organiser in Ghent many times, and we are delighted to have him on the road with us now, talking all things cardiology!
Caroline Hahn

Caroline is a board-certified neurologist with a special interest in equine cases. She has so far biked each and every mile the VwHP time has ridden!
Jenny Croft

Jenny has been a big part of VwHP with boundless energy, and a wealth of experience in equine first opinion practice.  We're excited to see her back on her bike with us this year!
