Svein Bakker has been our rock in Norway - each time we have travelled to Scandinavia Svein has worked hard to make our trip effortless as it could possible be (as far as that is possible given what we do!), and organise a fantastic CPD event for Norwegian vets.

Educated at Freie Universität Berlin and Norwegian College og Veterinary Medicine. Graduated 1978, Defended PhD in 1991 ”Diagnosing chronic respiratory diseases in horses”, Certified equine specialist in equine diseases 1992, MRCVS 2020.
Working with horses full time since graduation at Norges Veterinærhøgskole, Bjerke Dyrehospital, Momarken Hesteklinikk and private ambulatory practice. Enjoy working as a private expert in veterinary law cases. Racetrack vet at Bjerke Travbane and Momarken Travbane. FEI veterinarian. Partner at Turks & Caicos Veterinary Associates. Big interest in internal medicine, in particular respiratory diseases. I am an humble member of Vets with Horsepower.
I use the free time with off road biking, music and family.
