Gavin Mitchell
IMV Imaging

Gavin has been a part of the Horsepower team since the beginning... in many roles including sponsor, support driver, tour organiser, and general purveyor of moral support and enthusiasm. Gavin has the unusual trait of not only being incredibly enthusiastic about an idea, but is also able to then put a plan into action.

Gavin says:
"With a degree in Mineral Engineering allowing me to find a flake of gold in a huge rock, I spent the first ten years of my working life in the oil & gas industry working in various sales and marketing roles for large American and European oil companies, expanding my knowledge with a MBA through these years. Twenty one years ago I joined BCF Technology (now IMV imaging) and entered the wonderful world of animal imaging. For those years I have done many different and exciting roles, travelling the world and making lots of great veterinary friends and hopefully helping advance the use of imaging technologies for animals. Today I lead an outstanding team, who work hard daily to make the lives of vets better through helping them understand our technologies and their effective applications. I get huge satisfaction hearing the stories of our team making a difference. As a Director of VMG I also help shape the leadership and management of those responsible for running our veterinary practices throughout the UK.
Outside work, you will definitely find me outdoors. Often I have a bike attached to me, but also love kayaking, wild swimming, hill walking and photography."

We would love to keep in touch with you!
