Dr Piotr Bobrowski

Piotr Bobrowski, DVM, 

is a graduate of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Lublin. He completed his clinical internship at the University Hospital in Ankara, and during his studies undertook practical training in equine hospitals across Poland. After graduation, he completed a one-year rotating internship at Equi Vet Serwis in Buk.

In the following years, he worked as a clinical veterinarian and anesthesiologist at the University Referral Center in Uppsala. After returning from the United States, he ran his own veterinary practice and also held the position of assistant professor in the Department of Surgery at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Olsztyn, where he performed surgical procedures and conducted teaching activities.

He gained experience in equine surgery, among others, during an internship at the Hagyard Equine Medical Institute in Kentucky (USA) and through participation in international courses and congresses, including the VET Equine Specialist Meeting in Munich and conferences of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons (ECVS).

Since 2024, he has been a member of the Board of the Veterinary Wound Healing Association (VWHA), and in 2025 he was a speaker at the VWHA World Conference in Barcelona. In 2025, he completed the Polish specialization in equine diseases and began the European ECVS specialization in equine surgery at Equi Vet Serwis.

He rides a Yamaha Bulldog bt 1100.
